About the event
This hands-on STOP THE BLEED® course teaches participants how to recognize life-threatening bleeding and respond quickly until emergency medical services arrive. Students will learn and practice direct pressure, wound packing, and proper tourniquet application under the instruction of Michael McLeod, a fire department paramedic, BBPD SWAT Medic, and U.S. Marine Corps combat veteran. No previous medical experience is required.
